We need to innovate the way we talk about our jobs in Manu and getting the word out more. For the Digital Fulfilment Trainee position we've only had 5 people apply. We should have more. After the June meeting it sounded like Retail Managers would like to know more about roles in Manu. Given that DF is a mix of Retail & Manu I would like to open it up to Retail and tell the shops & more of Manu about it using a 60-90 second video. We could film a day in the life of DF, what a trainee does by talking to the existing trainee (who is moving on to Ballistics so another opportunity to show progression!) and the new trainee. We could talk to the staff and ask them to say what it's like to work there and what they would like to see from a new trainee. We think people aren't applying because word isn't getting out and I'm looking into how to improve that with the Manu Recruitment team. It could be a nice thing to trial. It would be something new to try and attract people to our roles and feels more personal than a poster on a wall or email (which may not be seen by all people!). It would be interfacing and I would like to email it to all the shops, Manu rooms, on our Lush TVs, Facebook page and anything else you think. We need this pretty quick if possible and I think it could be a brilliant tool! Thank you.
