When a customer places an order as a guest, we don't currently require them to provide an email address.
If we required this email address for all Guest users, or used an email when provided, once their order had been dispatched we could email the customer and offer them the ability to register their account to become part of the community, with this we can encourage more customers to interact with the website and hopefully increase return custom.
More registered customers also improves our visibility or customer behaviour.
